It’s August 2025, and I’m sitting atop a vineyard in Tuscany, the skyline of San Gimignano tracing the horizon just beyond the fields. A warm breeze blows gently across the rows of grape vines & olive trees below.
My mind turns to love. Divine love, persisting love, gritty and unchanging love. Love that suffers, love that aches. Love that is as strong as death. I somehow see this love as I view the vineyard. Rain comes in due season; the sun shines and nourishes the plants. Crops cultivated and pruned by those that know what they need.
8×10” original acrylic painting; 2025. Painting continues around frame; wire hung for display. Purchase includes certificate of authenticity & handwritten letter by the artist.
